How GSES Hybrid RTGC works
Typical flow of power for Graphsyn Energy System:
Diesel generator runs and supply electrical power to Graphsyn energy storage system (GESS) and charge it up to 80% SOC.
GESS supplies power to support auxiliary load, hoist motor, trolley motor and gantry motor simultaneously.
Energy recovered from lowering spreader is stored back to the GESS System.
Cycle 2 to 3 repeats itself until Battery management system detects 20% SOC. Then, Diesel generator restart itself and charge GESS System.
Hybrid or Full Electric Conversion on Terminal Tractors (TT)
Capable of delivering quick acceleration and smooth power delivery.
Lower Operating cost where hybrid retrofit saves about 30% in energy cost while full electric retrofit reach as high as 68%.
Drastically reduce annual general maintenance cost. (Above 50%).

How GSES TT Conversion Works
Conventional Diesel Engine:
Remove all essential parts inclusive of engine, gearbox, fuel compartment and other auxiliary parts.
Maintain structural backbone of the terminal tractor.

Hybrid Engine:
Install Hybrid powertrain transmission system, Diesel Engine, Hi Power battery system and etc.
Install Hybrid control unit, radiator and cooling system.
Install voltage wiring harness, instrument assembly and various pipelines.

Electric Engine:
Install HCU, acceleration pedal, electric engine, control box and etc.
Install essential electrical component (air pump, steering pump), power battery pack system and cooling system.
